For most, this is short term and with minor consequences, though for some, this can become chronic and seriously affect their day-to-day lives. We all don't want this to happen, prevention is always better than cure, so how to prevent low back pain? These are the guidelines for preventing acute low back pain.
- Sit as little as possible. Only for 10 to 15 minutes. EKOBOR always encourages people to alternate sitting and standing in every hour, half sitting and half standing is preferred.
- Sit with back support at the curve of your back. And keep your hips and knees at a right angle, your feet should be flat on the floor.
- When standing up from a sitting position, move to the front of the seat of your chair. Stand up by straightening your legs and avoid bending forward at your waist.
